Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 35 years of experience. I have had the benefit and pleasure of working with individuals from all walks of life, and in varied treatment modalities. I enjoy working with adults who simply want to feel better. I consider myself to be a very good listener, with a predominantly laid back and warm style creating an environment for you to feel comfortable and supported. My area of expertise focuses on adults with anxiety and/or depression.

My approach to therapy

While I think that we all possess the ability to improve our lives and emotional well-being, I also believe that sometimes we are our own worst enemies. When we are battling anxiety and/or depression our thoughts and internal conversations can have a tremendous negative impact on our overall mental health. I focus on the relationship between a person’s thoughts and feelings, as well as, their motivation for change to illicit a positive change in their overall well being.

What you can expect from me

Individuals can expect to feel understood and empowered. My goal is to assist you in reducing your symptoms of anxiety/depression, as well as, helping you to learn how to maintain achieved gains.
