Great to meet you!

Born in Texas and raised in Brazil and Chile, I’ve spent my life bridging cultures. I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and I bring that multicultural lens into my work with adults who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem struggles, relationship stress, and major life transitions.

I work with people dealing with anxiety and overthinking, depression, caregiver stress, aging-related concerns, and the emotional impact of change. I also support clients facing relationship challenges—including infidelity, narcissism, communication breakdowns, and painful patterns that repeat over time. For those exploring identity, I provide affirming support around coming out, cultural identity concerns, and the pressure of balancing multiple worlds. Many clients also come in trying to make sense of narcissistic dynamics and the confusion, self-doubt, and boundary erosion that can accompany them.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in real life. I draw from evidence-based models, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you gain clarity, understand patterns that keep you stuck, and build skills you can actually use outside of sessions. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—our work should fit your life, your values, and your context.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas, Florida, and Vermont. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Houston (1998) and a master’s degree in Theology from the Notre Dame Graduate School of Theology (1989). My goal is to meet you where you are—with empathy, respect, and tools that make a real difference.

What you can expect from me

I want you to leave our sessions feeling affirmed, validated, and equipped with tools that support your growth. Together, we’ll build skills to help you better understand your emotions and how they impact your life. If you’ve been asking yourself, “Whose life am I living?” let’s explore that together.
