I have been practicing for over 25 years. I received a clinical degree in Social Work at Boston University where I was trained in individual and family therapy. Since then I have gone on to work with children, teens as well as couples therapy. Along the way I have acquired many of the current evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic.
I work from a client driven perspective. I like to let the client identify what they want to achieve in therapy and then help them to acquire it. To accomplish this I utilize many of the more current evidence-based and evidence-informed approaches that are on the cutting edge of current therapeutic practices.
Don't you hate climbing the ladder of success only to find it leaning against the wrong wall? I listen to what my clients want to do and then help them to reach their goals. The collaborative development of treatment goals represents an early and ongoing aspect of the therapy. Work focuses on how to attain these goals and routinely measuring where we are against these goal.
