Great to meet you!

I believe effective mental health care starts with feeling heard, respected, and understood. I take a collaborative, non-judgmental approach and work closely with you to understand your goals, concerns, and life context—not just your symptoms.

I value clear communication and transparency, so I’ll explain diagnoses, treatment options, and medications in a way that’s easy to understand. My goal is to help you feel confident and informed about your care, not rushed or overwhelmed.

I provide evidence-based medication management while considering the whole person—mental, emotional, and physical health. I welcome questions and encourage active participation in treatment decisions so we can create a plan that truly fits your needs.

Whether you’re seeking care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, or ongoing medication management, I aim to create a supportive, safe space where progress feels achievable and care feels personal.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and evidence-based. I take time to understand your symptoms, history, and personal goals so we can develop a treatment plan that feels both effective and realistic.

I believe mental health care works best when it’s a partnership. We’ll review options together, including medication, lifestyle considerations, and therapeutic supports, and adjust the plan as your needs evolve. I focus on using the lowest effective medication doses while carefully monitoring benefits and side effects.

I prioritize clear communication, consistency, and follow-up, so you always know what to expect from treatment. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you build long-term stability, resilience, and confidence in managing your mental health.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll take time to get to know you and understand what brought you in. I’ll ask about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. This is a judgment-free conversation, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.

We’ll review possible diagnoses and discuss treatment options together, including whether medication may be appropriate. I’ll explain recommendations clearly and answer any questions so you feel informed and supported.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of next steps, an initial treatment plan, and a plan for follow-up. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and confident about moving forward with your care.
