Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Dr. Paul Egbe, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience. My journey in mental health began with a master’s degree in counseling and psychology, followed by a doctorate in counselor-education and supervision. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, families, couples, and groups, helping them navigate a wide range of challenges and issues.

My therapeutic philosophy is centered around meeting you where you are and journeying with you to where you want to be. I believe in respecting all people, regardless of their backgrounds and beliefs, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for every client. My approach incorporates cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness therapy, and person-centered therapy, tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.

I specialize in addressing a variety of issues, including ADHD, PTSD, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, anger management, life transitions, academic challenges, addiction, marriage and family problems, parenting issues, and more. Whether you're dealing with stress, trauma, suicidal ideation, or seeking support for LGBTQIA+ issues, I am here to help.

In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and collaborative approach. I am committed to understanding your experiences and working together to find effective solutions. My goal is to empower you to overcome obstacles and achieve a more fulfilling life.

If you're ready to take the first step towards healing and growth, let's talk. It will be okay. I look forward to working with you as you navigate this challenging time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and sometimes person centered.

What you can expect from our first session

I want the clients that I am there to meet their needs. One of the goals is that my client should be empowered so that they should have the tools to resolved their issues and be able manage their lives on their own outside of therapy.
