Great to meet you!

Our practice, NJ Recovery & Wellness, offers individual and family counseling for those seeking therapy for both mental health conditions and substance use disorders. Whether working with myself or another one of our clinical team, we strive to make counseling more accessible and are dedicated to improving outcomes for those who entrust us with their care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In treating the whole person, I find that a holistic and humanistic approach is best in respecting each individual for their unique lives and lived experience. While it's important to affairm and embrace our past experiences, much of the counseling work is involved in the reframing or self limiting thoughts and changing our own internal narrative, the story we tell ourselves about us as people, others, or life itself.

What you can expect from our first session

Whether seeking counseling to process through life's experiences, learn skills and strategies to cope and thrive, or heal from emotional wounds, a common experience in counseling is to have a dedicated place to be yourself, be heard, and walk away with a different perspective. We enjoy having the opportunity to partner with our clients as they embark on this journey!
