Great to meet you!

Welcome to my online psychotherapy practice! I have been a licensed clinical social worker for 20 years working with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a clinical supervisor. My background is in metabolic mental health, general health, mental wellbeing, and geriatrics, and I bring a warm, empowering, and solution oriented style to every session. I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness based approaches depending on what a client actually needs. We can work with your doctor to improve your overall mood and health. After years of supporting Veterans and adults through complex health and life transitions, I understand how physical health, aging, and mental health intersect, and I bring that lens into the room. I can help.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, and the emotional toll of chronic health conditions, along with grief, trauma, and life transitions. Many of my clients are managing a health diagnosis, caregiving responsibilities, or the stress of a major life change, and I help them build practical coping skills while also making space for the harder emotions underneath. I also work with older adults navigating retirement, health changes, or loss, and I bring a steady, non judgmental presence to those conversations.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a space where you feel truly heard, not rushed toward a fix before you are ready for one. I bring both clinical structure and genuine warmth to our work together. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
