Great to meet you!

The problem many people bring to therapy is that they have been emotionally wounded. These wounds can be expressed as anger, depression, anxiety, addictions, ptsd, and eating disorders. But like physical wounds, emotional wounds can heal. My job is to assist clients in healing these wounds and getting on with the business of life.

My approach to therapy

Often the reasons clients enter therapy is due to unresolved emotional pain. The depression and anxiety we express are symptoms of this buried pain. Addressing and resolving the core issue of emotional pain leads to a decrease in these symptoms. Addressing only the symptoms and not diving into the deeper issues often does not lead to long term relief. My job is to dive below the surface and help heal the deeper wounds.

What you can expect from me

In the first session client's will explore the deeper reasons they think, feel and behave the way that they do. Often these reasons have to do with our unresolved emotional pain. Healing the pain can cause one's life to be dramatically improved.
