Great to meet you!

For many years, my original plans were to enter law enforcement to help others. As I grew older, I wanted to be of service in a less dramatic manner. I had my start in treating addiction and mental health problems in the criminal justice system.

Licensed in mental health counseling - I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I specialize in treating men's issues, trauma, anxiety, depression. I work really well with adults and the elderly.

My approach to therapy

I start with making sure that the client has explicit goals to work on during our time together; not all of them need to be highly specific but it is very helpful to have a direction. I use a combination of different interventions to go out the client's pace. I will work as hard the client is working to help themselves.

What you can expect from me

I want my clients to walk away feeling like they had some light or heavy mental workout done. My clients have ideas to reflect on, coping skills to practice and/or hope that change is possible and that life can indeed be better.
