Great to meet you!

Paul D. Williams Jr., M.Ed., LPC

I believe healing begins with honest conversations. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore life's challenges, develop practical coping skills, and move toward lasting growth.

I work with adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, anger, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I have a particular passion for supporting men as they navigate emotional wellness, relationships, career pressures, identity, and personal growth.

My counseling approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practices to help clients identify strengths, overcome obstacles, and build meaningful change.

For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into the counseling process, while always respecting each person's values, beliefs, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe every person has the capacity for growth and healing when they feel heard, understood, and supported.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and life experiences because I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all.

For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling, incorporating Christian principles into the therapeutic process while always respecting each client's beliefs, values, and personal goals.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, stress, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with confidence and hope.

Healing begins with honest conversations—and you don't have to face life's challenges alone.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace.

During our first meeting, we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and the goals you'd like to achieve. I'll also answer any questions you have about the counseling process so you know what to expect moving forward.

Together, we'll identify your strengths, begin developing a plan tailored to your needs, and establish meaningful goals for therapy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, or a major life transition, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together toward healing and growth.

My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged—knowing you don't have to face life's challenges alone.
