Great to meet you!

I earned a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2004. I have 16 years of experience as an LPC working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. with a variety of mental health concerns and diagnosis. I'm also certified as a CANS Assessor for youths in foster care and have obtained a certificate to provide telehealth care to my clients.

My approach to therapy

I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective as well as a mindfulness-based approach. I may adjust modalities accordingly to client needs. I work with clients in a variety of formats, including individuals, children and families. I see clients of all ages and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

The counseling relationship will be based on trust, honesty, respect and commitment with one another in order to work together to explore and define present problem concerns, develop future goals, and identify strengths for an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.
