Great to meet you!

Hello! I am Paula, LCSW with 25+ yrs of experience providing therapy for several populations. I am compassionate, non-judgemental, active listener, and strongly believe in the therapeutic process for healing, recovery and transformation. Groups I've served: couples, adults, teens in private practice, trained medical staff on Perinatal Mood Disorders, counseled women, domestic violence, foster youth and families, Thank you!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a client centered focus therapist so we start where you would like to begin. I offer a sacred, safe space where you will be met with compassion, empathy and warmth. I am an active listener and certified in CBT and IPT, use the Trauma Informed Care model, Jungian psychology, and have other specializations in Perinatal Mood Disorders, and in working with the military and Vets. I enjoy working with adults, couples and adolescents.

What you can expect from our first session

In a safe and sacred space, with openness and curiosity in a strength based therapy, I assist clients with insight into thoughts, behaviors and feelings. With insights gained, clients then have authentic choices to create positive changes in their lives. Clients take away from therapy how to create a lifestyle with personal meaning, and how to continue and incorporate these transformational tools throughout their lives.
