Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adolescents, adults, and older adults. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your treatment.

I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and personalized treatment planning for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, and other mood and thought disorders. I also have extensive experience caring for older adults with dementia and other neurocognitive disorders, helping patients and families navigate behavioral and emotional challenges with dignity and compassion.

I believe that effective mental health care is collaborative. I take the time to understand your unique experiences, explain treatment options clearly, and develop a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle. Whether you are seeking care for the first time or looking for a provider who listens and partners with you, I am committed to helping you achieve improved mental wellness and a better quality of life.

Together, we will work toward lasting improvements in your emotional health, resilience, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care begins with listening. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences and working toward meaningful change. I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, compassion, and respect, while providing evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a collaborative treatment plan. We’ll discuss what brought you to treatment, your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve.

I take the time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and gain a complete understanding of your unique experiences. My approach is compassionate, respectful, and free of judgment. You are encouraged to ask questions throughout the visit, and I will explain my assessment and recommendations in clear, understandable terms.

If medication is appropriate, we’ll review the potential benefits, risks, and side effects together so you can make an informed decision. If medication isn’t the best option, we’ll discuss other evidence-based strategies and resources to support your mental health.

By the end of our first session, you’ll have a better understanding of your diagnosis (if appropriate), a personalized treatment plan, and clear next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about your path forward.
