My name is Pauline Ekeh PMHNP-BC. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed and board certified in the state of NJ to provide psychiatric care for patients with mental illness. I have been trained to provide care to patients struggling with mental health problems. I have the education and experience to tend to your mental health needs of patients of all ages.
Patient-centered care is based on the fundamental idea of compassionate, engaged listening. There is more to ongoing patient communication than just making decisions. Maintaining a patient's unique requirements, values, and preferences calls for constant relationship- and communication-building.
Each session with you is to help you achieve self-actualization, and I will offer unconditional positive regard (UPR). You will be accepted and valued. I will be honest and transparent in how you experience yourself and your world. Your viewpoint would be seen as if they were you.
