Pauline Urick holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. Pauline is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our center. She has experience with the ID/DD population, medically complex, end of life, severely mentally ill as well as young children. Pauline has a passion for counseling and assisting at risk populations that are most vulnerable. Pauline enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and going to Disney World.

A bit about my approach to therapy

You can expect to feel heard, listened to, understood, and respected right from the get go. I enjoy utilizing skills and homework and have clients actively set goals to make steps in the direction of change. Throughout the process my goal is to build a trusting relationship and help you feel accountable to the process.

I believe in treating everyone with dignity, sensitivity, and compassion. You can expect for an open, non- judgmental, safe space for our session and I always bring the utmost level of respect and care to our sessions.
