Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals of all ages achieve emotional and psychological well-being. I work from a child-centered and person-centered approach and use techniques such as art, storytelling, sandtray, and imaginative play. These techniques help address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, relationship issues and behavioral problems.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach each client differently depending on their needs and interests, but primarily utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. Play therapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help process emotions, thoughts, and experiences through play, which is an innate form of communication. No matter your age or background, my job is to help you through the therapeutic process and assist you in gaining insight, managing emotions, developing skills, and improving self-esteem.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and work hard to ensure clients feel comfortable, welcome, and supported when we work together. Your story is important and I will meet you where you are at.
