Great to meet you!

Therapy can be a place where insight leads to real change—not just endless talking about problems. When life feels uncertain or overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to turn. You deserve a space where you don’t have to carry everything on your own. On days when anxiety, worry, stress, or anger take over, it may feel like you're just trying to make it through. Therapy can help you develop healthier ways to cope and regain balance.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) with over 20 years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and life transitions.

Over the years, I’ve seen how many of these struggles connect to unaddressed wounds—not only the big, obvious experiences, but also the quieter ones that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. These experiences can influence how we relate to others, respond to stress, and understand ourselves. My passion is helping people move beyond simply getting by to understanding and healing the deeper roots of what’s weighing them down. The good news is that change and healing are possible.

My approach to therapy

Clients often tell me they feel seen and valued in our work together. I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and straight talk into the therapy room because meaningful healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

The people I’ve worked with and the stories they’ve shared continue to shape how I approach this work.

Relational and Narrative Therapy are at the heart of my work, honoring the complexity of each person’s story. I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches to help clients develop practical coping tools and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, what feels most important right now, and what you hope might change.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. I’m not here to simply nod along—I actively engage with you as we work through the hard parts together.

Therapy isn’t always easy, but it can create space for clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. When it fits, I also believe a little humor can help lighten the process and remind us that growth doesn’t always have to feel heavy.

If you're considering therapy but aren’t sure where to start, you can schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit by emailing: [email protected]
