Great to meet you!

Peimaneh holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in psychiatric mental health from Washington State University, bringing advanced clinical expertise to every patient interaction. The time is dedicated to serving individuals under age 65 who are physically located in Washington State, ensuring high-quality support is accessible from the comfort of home.

Peimaneh is a compassionate mental health expert with over ten years of experience providing comprehensive care, focusing on schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related illnesses (PTSD). Proven experience addressing acute instances and bridging therapy with common illnesses such as depression and anxiety. Dedicated to using evidence-based, trauma-informed care to foster patient resilience and long-term recovery.

My approach to therapy

I believe that mental healthcare is not one-size-fits-all. My approach centers on the "whole person," looking beyond symptoms to understand the biological, psychological, and social factors affecting a patient's well-being. I specialize in bridging the gap between physical health and psychological wellness, offering comprehensive care that often combines evidence-based psychopharmacology with supportive therapy. My practice is deeply collaborative; I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, ensuring that patients are actively involved in decision-making and that their values and goals drive the treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a 50–60 minute, comprehensive initial assessment focusing on gathering psychiatric history, current symptoms, and personal goals in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I will review intake forms, discuss medication, address confidentiality, and collaborate on a preliminary treatment plan, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and supported.

  • Information Gathering & History: I will ask detailed questions about the reasons for seeking care, current symptoms (anxiety, mood, sleep, etc.), past psychiatric history, medical history, family history, and current medications.
  • The Diagnostic Picture: I will gather information to understand the potential condition, which may involve using screening tools. This helps me understand the nature of their concerns.
  • A Collaborative Plan: The first session focuses on setting a foundation. By the end, we will discuss preliminary treatment options, which may include therapy strategies or medication management, and set goals for future visits.
  • Safe Space & Confidentiality: I will review confidentiality rules and set boundaries for their privacy while ensuring they feel comfortable sharing what they are ready to discuss.
  • Preparation Tips: I encourage clients to bring a list of current medications (with dosages), a brief summary of their concerns, and any questions they have.

Clients should know that it is normal to feel nervous or emotional, and they do not have to share everything if they are not ready.
