Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in education and school counseling, and I work with adolescents and adults in both English and Spanish. I support clients who are dealing with anxiety, stress, identity questions, maternal mental health concerns, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and family stress. Many of the people I work with are trying to manage a lot internally while still showing up for school, work, family, and daily life. My goal is to offer a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to work through what has been weighing on you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and practical. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I see therapy as a process we build together based on your goals and needs. I use Solution-Focused Therapy and CBT to help clients strengthen coping skills, manage stress, work through anxious or depressive thoughts, and build resilience in a way that feels realistic and useful. I’m open-minded, inquisitive, and affirming, and I want the work to feel both supportive and growth-oriented.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll start by exploring what feels most important for you to share as we begin building our therapeutic relationship. You’ll have space to talk about what has been going on, what support you’re looking for, and what you hope can feel different moving forward. My goal is for you to feel welcomed, heard, and encouraged while we begin creating goals and a plan that feels right for you.
