Great to meet you!

I help people sort through parts of life that feel 'stuck' and work to identify skills to move forward. One major focus of my work has been on helping people improve their relationships with food, their bodies, and the culture that has dictated the most harmful elements of this relationship.

Welcoming clients from all identities, and make space to address the impact of explicit and internalized biases.

My approach to therapy

If we were to work together, we would spend some time identifying what messages you are listening to from yourself, question which of those messages align with the life you want to live, and how to make peace with the others.

While I have trained in both psychodynamic therapy and CBT, and find elements useful for some, I also honor these approaches don't feel like a good fit and am aware that many have experienced being 'gaslit' by certain approaches. Primarily, my practice leans into values-driven Acceptance and Commitment therapy.

What you can expect from me

We may spend time on the origins of these negative messages, and will discuss the process of moving forward with a balance of acceptance and change. The client is the expert in their experience, and I offer myself in the role of consultant, facilitator, coach, and co-conspirator. Together, we forge a path forward.

*Health at Every Size, Queer and Neurodivergence affirming!
