Great to meet you!

Most people I work with have read the books, done the journaling, and maybe even tried therapy before. They understand themselves intellectually. What they're looking for is a way to actually feel different, not just think differently. I work with adults who are ready to go below the surface. If you've been managing your anxiety, your relationships, or your sense of self mostly through logic and willpower and it's not quite working anymore, you might be a good fit. My clients tend to be curious about themselves. They want to understand not just what they do, but why. They're open to the idea that healing is more than cognitive, and they're willing to explore what their emotions, body, and relationships have been communicating all along. I work with people navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the feeling that something important hasn't been addressed yet. I have particular experience working with people who appear high-functioning on the outside while carrying a great deal beneath the surface.

If you're looking for therapy with a little more depth, I'd love to connect and see whether we're a good fit.

My approach to therapy

I practice relational and embodied therapy, which means we don't just talk about what's happening in your life. We also pay attention to what's happening in your body, your patterns in relationships, and the parts of yourself that have been quietly shaping your experience for years. My work is grounded in the Virginia Satir model, which views people as whole, resourceful, and capable of growth. It emphasizes authentic connection - with yourself, with others, and with the parts of you that may have been overlooked or protected for a long time.

I've worked in the mental health field for over 11 years. I began my career as a school psychologist, where I saw firsthand how early experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and the world around us. That perspective continues to inform my work in private practice. When it feels meaningful for a client, I'm also comfortable exploring the spiritual or existential dimensions of healing. It's not a separate technique I use, it's simply part of how I understand growth, connection, and being human. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I won't simply offer coping skills and send you on your way. Together, we'll work toward understanding the deeper patterns that keep you stuck so that meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.

What you can expect from me

I grew up in North Jersey and now live near the Shore, which means I get to spend the summer exactly where I want to be. Outside of work, I'm drawn to experiences that help me slow down, stay present, and connect with something bigger than the day-to-day. That's part of why conversations about meaning, spirituality, and personal growth feel so natural to me. They're not just topics I explore with clients, they're questions I continue to explore in my own life. I believe that a therapist's own growth matters, and the work I do with clients is work I practice myself. I strive to bring authenticity, curiosity, and openness into every session.

I value genuine connection and believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. If that resonates with you, I look forward to seeing whether we're a good fit.
