Great to meet you!

If your child, teen, family, or relationship is struggling with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, substance use, or emotional overwhelm, you don't have to navigate it alone. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing challenges such as stress, anger management, communication difficulties, parenting concerns, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues.

As Clinical Director of Safe Haven Community Counseling Service, I am passionate about helping individuals and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop practical tools for lasting change. With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in supporting clients through trauma recovery, emotional regulation, family dynamics, and behavioral concerns. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and solution-focused. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Family Systems Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Behavioral Interventions, Parenting Support, Psychoeducation, Trauma-Informed Care, and skills-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.

I believe lasting change happens when clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing effective coping strategies they can use in everyday life. When working with children and families, I help strengthen communication, improve emotional regulation, address behavioral challenges, and create healthier family dynamics. Together, we'll identify strengths, build resilience, and develop realistic goals that support long-term growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where your concerns are taken seriously and your goals remain the focus of treatment. During our work together, we'll create a clear plan that helps you understand what's contributing to current challenges and how to move forward.

Many clients leave therapy with stronger coping skills, improved communication, healthier relationships, better emotional regulation, increased confidence, and practical tools for managing anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, and family stress. My goal is for you and your family to feel empowered, supported, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience!
