Great to meet you!

With over 22 years of experience in the field of mental health, I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome life's challenges and build a path toward healing and growth.

I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults, and have extensive experience supporting clients through depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, personality disorders, and more. My background spans a variety of settings, including outpatient and inpatient care, schools, homes, skilled nursing facilities, and the criminal justice system, allowing me to bring a comprehensive understanding of diverse life experiences and challenges.

Whether you're navigating a difficult moment or looking to address long-term struggles, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is solution-focused, and I work collaboratively with clients to identify practical strategies that create lasting change. My goal is to empower you to make informed decisions and take meaningful steps toward a balanced, healthier life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, collaborative relationship. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.

During this session, we will:

  • Discuss your concerns and goals. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. This is your time, and we will move at your pace.
  • Review your history. I’ll ask some questions about your background, past experiences, and any previous therapy. This helps me understand the full picture of your needs.
  • Explore what’s working—and what’s not. Since my approach is solution-focused, we’ll begin identifying strengths, resources, and small steps that can support positive change.
  • Talk through logistics. We’ll go over scheduling, confidentiality, treatment options, and any questions you may have about the process.

You don’t need to prepare anything ahead of time—just bring yourself. The first session is about establishing clarity, comfort, and direction, so you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we’ll do together.
