I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Alabama. Additionally, I have devoted 12 years of my professional career to the field of mental health, focusing on providing care to both teenagers and adults facing a wide range of challenges. I firmly believe that therapy offers a dedicated space for problem-solving and healing. It serves as a beacon of HOPE and new beginnings.
My approach involves skillfully guiding clients in setting clear goals while remaining flexible to what you need. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment, fostering your comfort in sharing your thoughts and feelings. I will assist you in evaluating how your relationships and community can either contribute to challenges or offer solutions.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll discuss what you’ve been experiencing, how things have been affecting you, and what you would like to see change. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or share everything at once. We’ll take things one step at a time.
I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, concerns, and goals, while giving you space to ask questions about therapy or my approach.
Together, we’ll begin creating a direction for you, so you feel comfortable and know what to expect moving forward.
