Perla Allen

Hi! My name is Perla Allen and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California (LCSW 69205). I have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including community outpatient settings, hospitals, in- home and telehealth. I have had experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have had the most experience working with depression and anxiety. Everyone deserves to have someone they can fully be themselves with and feel comfortable speaking with, let me be that person for you. I look forward to working with you!

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help my clients set goals and achieve them.I would describe my style as empathetic, warm, and goal-oriented. I view therapy as a balance between acceptance and validation, and change. This means that you will not only feel understood, heard and seen during our sessions, but I will also come along side you to help make impactful changes in your life.

We’ll start by completing an assessment and talking about what brought you here. My goal is to understand your story, your strengths, and what you hope will change so we can create a treatment plan together and work toward building a life that feels worth living.
