Great to meet you!

I use an integrative, holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally aware approach. My style is warm, empathetic, and thoughtful, as well as active, pragmatic, and concrete. I foster a safe environment for deep reflection and for developing and implementing the necessary tools to encourage desired change.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and client-centered approach, allowing clients to guide the direction and depth of the work. I am attuned to the needs of the client to determine the best treatment approach and draw from various modalities to help clients reach their goals. I value clients’ perspectives and facilitate greater insight into their experiences through curiosity and inquiry. I also highlight the client’s strengths and empower them to discover and develop the skills they need to optimize their well-being.

What you can expect from me

During a consultation call, we can get to know each other a bit, and you can ask any questions. We will schedule your first appointment, and I will send you my practice documents to review and e-sign before our first appointment.

The first 3-4 sessions are an opportunity for me to learn about what you would like to work on, how I can support you, and see if we are a good fit for working together. If it seems that we are not a good fit, I will connect you with another therapist who can better meet your needs. At the end of this assessment period, we will clarify your treatment goals and the frequency of meetings.
