Perry proudly served in the United States Navy as a combat medic prior to his honorable discharge in 2011. Perry obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Perry specialized in emergency and critical care medicine as a registered nurse gaining valuable knowledge and skills that he still utilizes today. He then earned a Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
