Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am Peter, an experienced licensed clinical social worker who is dedicated to working with people suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, and other mood disorders. I have been serving people in New York City for over 20 years in the areas of social services.

My approach to therapy

While I draw from various evidenced-based treatment modalities, my approach is warm, person-centered, and non-judgmental. Since there are other factors of our being human that can affect mental health, the focus of treatment is not only on the mind but may include aspects of bodily health, and the spirit of the person.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to establish a therapeutic relationship that engages in the work of healing and personal growth. To this end, you can expect to be able to identify the life issues and thinking patterns that trigger your emotional responses and learn ways of coping, so you can go on living your best life.
