I’ve spent much of my life on and around the water, which has taught me that both the ocean and life can shift quickly from calm to unpredictable. Those experiences shape my approach to therapy: learning not to fight the current, but to move through it with awareness and resilience. I offer a grounded and compassionate space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore the parts of life that feel heavy or stuck, while feeling both supported and gently challenged. Our work together is collaborative and rooted in curiosity, honesty, and deep respect for your story. Alongside my clinical training and two master’s degrees, my years living and working throughout Southeast Asia have given me experience supporting people from diverse cultural, spiritual, and relational backgrounds.
I work with couples to explore core fears, needs, and attachment dynamics. We use methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method to help you move from disconnection toward secure, loving connection. In work with individuals compassionate curiosity leads the process of working with anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment, sexuality issues. EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy are modalities often referenced and utilized.
In the first session an intake assessment will be completed. This is a time for you to tell your story of where you are, where you have come from, and where you would like to go. It is a time of building rapport and trust while defining our goals for therapy.
