Great to meet you!

I have a unique professional background that includes working extensively with refugee and immigrant populations in a variety of settings, community based work serving youth, and crisis response. I grew up outside of San Francisco and moved around from state to state until I ended up in Boston. The diversity of my experiences and environments have shown me as much about the complexity of people as it has the beautiful simplicity that everyone shares a need (and deserves!) to be listened to, believed in, and safe to express how they feel.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to build an empowering and safe therapeutic relationship together with each individual. I believe genuine connection and authenticity are pillars of effective therapeutic change. You deserve to feel all the feelings a human is capable of feeling, including that the person listening to you is also a human being who cares about what you're saying.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be all about getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and most importantly what your goals for therapy are so that we can begin mapping out what success will look like. If you don't know what your goals are that's also okay, we can figure it out together.
