Great to meet you!

I am a husband of 25+ years and a parent of 3, and I belive I understand some of the challenges family life presents. I've seen successful men and women feel defeated by the struggles they face at home and watched them change their painful patterns to find the joy they previously thought was impossible. It’s sometimes a difficult journey but it does not have to be traveled alone.

My approach to therapy

I have a client-centered approach to therapy. I use a lot of internal family systems exercises when it resonates with my clients. However, I also incorporate an emotional focus which involves taking the time to notice what you actually feel and the messages built around those feelings.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel understood and that they truly make sense. Even when we don't understand our behavior, it always serves a function. Clients should also come away with a greater sense of confidence that they have gained practical skills they can use, and with the knowledge that they can feel better and more regulated.
