Great to meet you!

I'm psychologist who understands people where they're at and makes therapy a refuge from the storm where clients can rest, heal, and grow as they need to. I've been doing this a long time, and it's always been my dream to help people through their various challenges. My greatest intangible assets are my creativity and my sense of compassion. Also, my ability to encourage others and my confidence that they can completely overcome their struggles comes from my deeply held and long-developed Christian faith. I have a rich clinical background that has developed over time with many different specialties. Areas that I've had tremendous experience in include anxiety, depression, trauma, life adjustments, family relationships, and issues around developing friendships and loneliness. In short, I hope to see you and encourage you soon!

My approach to therapy

I take a very gentle, non-directive approach, as I feel that's what people need in this often confusing, extremely stressful time that we're in. I have wisdom I relate, but most of what I do is listen and encourage. You'll get sound advice from me when you ask for it, and I endeavor strongly for you to always feel welcomed, cared for, and respected.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a very calm, gentle approach that evinces humor when needed and to feel good about yourself, like you can handle things for maybe the first time. You'll also have hope and probably want to come back for another visit to feel encouraged and calmer. Bless you!
