Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Peter. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor in Florida, and I work with individuals navigating substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and related difficulties.

You may be dealing with relationship issues, conflict, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while also being challenged in a productive way—so you can build insight, take accountability, and make meaningful, lasting changes.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and practical. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and ACT to help you better understand your patterns, regulate emotions, build self-esteem, and develop coping strategies that actually work in your day-to-day life.

If you’re ready to work on your mental health, recovery, or personal growth, I’m here to help.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and practical. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and ACT to help you better understand your patterns, regulate emotions, build self-esteem, and develop coping strategies that actually work in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a structured but comfortable conversation focused on understanding you—what brought you in, what you’re currently struggling with, and what you want to change. We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable, and there’s no pressure to share everything at once.

I’ll ask some questions about your background, mental health history, current stressors, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. This helps me get a clear clinical picture while also allowing you to feel heard and understood. If you’re unsure where to start, I’ll guide the conversation.

We’ll also begin identifying initial goals—whether that’s improving mood, working through trauma, addressing relationship issues, or building self-esteem. I may introduce some early strategies or perspectives you can start using right away, depending on what you’re dealing with.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction, an understanding of how I work, and what ongoing therapy with me will look like. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling supported, understood, and more grounded than when you came in.
