Great to meet you!
Peyton is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides care for children, adolescents, and adults, with a special passion for pediatric mental health and ADHD.
Her connection to children and families has been a consistent part of her life and career. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Peyton spent six years working at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and managed an after-school program within the Hillsborough County school system. Growing up with a mother who owned a home daycare also gave her an early appreciation for the unique personalities, needs, and challenges of children at different developmental stages.
Peyton understands that when a child is struggling, it can affect the entire family. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where children and adolescents feel comfortable being themselves and parents feel heard, supported, and included.
In addition to ADHD and pediatric mental health, Peyton works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, panic, PTSD, mood concerns, and emotional and behavioral challenges. She provides medication management, brief supportive psychotherapy, and psychotropic genetic testing when appropriate.
