Great to meet you!

I attended college at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where I earned my Bachelors in Sociology and Masters in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. I have a history working in a counseling ministry where I worked with all age groups struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, and life issues. I am an active member of the Coastal Bend Play Therapy Chapter and am working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to provide clients with empowerment and encouragement to conquer their problems by providing copings skills, processing and understanding emotions, and supporting them during difficult times. I use solution-focused methods and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients overcome struggles.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel encouraged, supported, and empowered after sessions with me. Clients can expect to leave a session feeling like they have someone they can trust and open up to. They can also expect to have more tools in their coping skill toolbox.
