Great to meet you!

Life is filled with transitions, responsibilities, and unexpected challenges that can impact emotional and mental well-being. During these times, having compassionate, knowledgeable support can make a meaningful difference.

With a strong clinical foundation in both inpatient and community-based settings, I have experience treating a range of conditions including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and life transition stressors. My background as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery further informs my holistic understanding of emotional health across life stages.

Whether meeting in person or via telehealth, I am committed to fostering emotional balance, strengthening coping skills, and supporting long-term mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered,

I believe that mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is collaborative and individualized, integrating evidence-based practice with careful listening and thoughtful guidance. I work closely with each client to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals, symptoms, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to focus on understanding their concerns and building a comfortable, supportive rapport. The appointment includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation covering current symptoms, mental health history, medical background, medications, and psychosocial factors, along with a mental status examination.

We will discuss diagnostic impressions and review evidence-based treatment options, which may include therapy, lifestyle changes, and/or medication management. If medication is considered, I provide clear education about risks, benefits, and alternatives. By the end of the session, clients can expect a collaborative treatment plan and clear next steps.
