Great to meet you!

Areas of experience include anxiety/depression, perfectionism, adjustment to change, divorce, parental relationships, behavioral problems at home or school, gifted/talented student issues, self-worth, social struggles, communication skills, and/or relationship difficulties.

Phil graduated in 2019 from Amberton University with a Master of Arts, Professional Counseling degree.

My approach to therapy

The establishment of a therapeutic alliance is critical – to be heard, felt, and supported in a judgment-free zone. Phil integrates aspects of Rational Emotive Behavioral (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Emotionally Focused (EFT), and Solution-Focused (SFT) therapies into a consolidated approach that is tailored to your unique situation and needs. When requested, he is happy to integrate Christian counseling into his approaches.

What you can expect from me

I strive to make sure my client's thoughts and concerns are heard, first and foremost. As we work together to prioritize a treatment plan, you may find me challenging you to dig deeper, find new ways of looking at things, and ask the question "Why?".
