Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I have over 15 years of counseling experience working with individuals, couples, and families in inpatient and outpatient settings. My ongoing studies in and love of philosophy inform my approach to helping others examine their lives as they seek meaning, direction, and purpose.

My approach to therapy

I am interested in helping you understand, cope with, manage, and reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety and adapt to major changes in life. I work patiently and compassionately with those seeking to understand and come to terms with feelings of shame, loss and grief, meaninglessness, isolation, and ultimately our limited lifespan.

What you can expect from me

I hope to help others discover or create their own meaning and purpose in life. I want to help people answer for themselves, “How do I want to live the rest of my life?” and to develop ways to meaningfully connect with others.

I employ elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, existential psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis, and narrative therapy. I am also certified to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instrument for career exploration and counseling.
