Great to meet you!

Thank you! I want you to know I understand how hard it is to make the decision to reach out for therapy. I appreciate your trust and faith in wanting to address your needs and work toward making things better. Therapy involves feeling comfortable with who you talk to, that they understand you. I have been working with individuals and families for over 25 years and I like to keep things real, being transparent.

My approach to therapy

After the general introductions, I want to know what is on your mind and a priority. There are many different ways to approach an issue, so understanding a bit of the past, the current situational awareness, and knowing what you have control over leads to a strengths-based goal formation.

What you can expect from me

I always want to know what sticks out to you as we wrap up. Good or bad, I want to make sure I leave you with some things to think about before our next session. I am always willing to share links, downloads, or other resources that we talk about to help give you the gools to move forward.
