Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee, with a background in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work with individuals, families, and clients struggling with addiction, and I have experience supporting children and families through my work in school settings. I also use evidence-based approaches such as CBT and EMDR, especially when helping clients process trauma and build healthier coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, direct when needed, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves. I work with individuals facing addiction, including those struggling with opiate dependence, and I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can speak openly about what they are carrying. I believe therapy should help clients move toward greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, and meaningful change. Many clients feel relieved to have a place where they can be honest about their current struggles and begin the work of healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, open, and safe space where they feel comfortable sharing what has been weighing on them. The first session is an opportunity to begin building trust, discuss current concerns, and identify what they hope to gain from therapy. My goal is to help clients feel heard, supported, and confident in the therapeutic relationship from the very beginning. Together, we start creating a path toward insight, healing, and change.
