Great to meet you!

Counseling is actually my 2nd career, doing I.T. Support was my 1st.

While working in that field, I told people that I did just as much counseling as I did I.T. work. Many people came to see me feeling anxious, angry, stressed, overwhelmed, or in grief because of technology issues.

I quickly learned that there were two issues going on:

· One was technical and the other was emotional.

· One needed repair and the other needed relief.

So, I addressed the person and their emotions first and then addressed their I.T. issues. I spent thousands of hours sitting with people, fixing their technology and giving space for their emotions and...I loved it!

I didn’t realize it then, but these were my first steps which would lead me into pursuing a career as a therapist. Now my work is in Emotional Support and instead of addressing hardware and software, I get to address brainware and heartware.

My approach to therapy

I see myself as a guide, honored to join you and your family on your journey. My goal is to be a source of relief in your wilderness. I want to support and cheer you on in helping you find restoration to continue your journey!

I work to build connection and be present with you while discussing your goals. Then, we collaborate on the practical and mental health needs to help achieve those goals. Finally, we discuss what tools and resources you need to continue your journey.

What you can expect from me

We will discuss your history, goals, and objectives along with a discharge timeline. This session will be the beginning of the therapeutic process where I focus on building connection while providing relief.

Please call me directly at 864-256-1856 for a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we're a good fit and to setup scheduling.
