Great to meet you!

If you feel caught between who others expect you to be and who you’re trying to become, therapy can give you room to finally sort through that tension. I specialize in working with adults navigating cultural identity, heavy family expectations, anxiety, relationship stress, and burnout. I especially support men who feel pressure to keep it together, struggle to put words to what they need, or feel disconnected from themselves in work, family, or dating. As the son of Chinese immigrants from Mexico, raised in Mississippi, I understand what it’s like to live between cultures and carry big expectations.

My approach to therapy

My “Mindful Garden” approach is based on the belief that real change is grown over time, not forced. In our work, we’ll slow down enough to really understand your story while also using practical tools from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. Together we’ll focus on easing anxiety, setting boundaries, and feeling more grounded in who you are.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is collaborative and low-pressure—we’ll explore what brought you here, what you hope will feel different, and whether we’re a good fit. If this resonates, you can request an appointment through this profile. I look forward to helping you decide which stories to keep, which to loosen, and what new “seeds” you want to plant for your future.
