Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Phiona Tran, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving adults in Pennsylvania. I support clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions like marriage, divorce, career changes, and the prenatal or postpartum period. I’m especially passionate about working with immigrants and adult children of immigrants who are exploring identity, family dynamics, and first-generation experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to what you need. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, which means we look at how your thoughts and the stories you carry shape your experience, and work together to shift patterns that are not serving you. I also bring an attachment-based and humanistic lens, honoring the relational and personal dimensions of healing. Sessions are conversational and purposeful, with space to reflect and build practical skills you can use between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to meet each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what you've tried before, and what you hope will feel different. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. From there, we'll set goals together and move at a pace that works for you. My hope is that over time, you leave each session with more clarity, practical tools, and a growing sense that the changes you're working toward are actually within reach.
