Great to meet you!

I have always believed that each of us can be empowered to help heal and emancipate each other from the trials and tribulations of life. I started my career as a helper at a young age, working after school in peer education and counseling settings. I followed this path all the way to the graduate and clinical levels. The varying support I got from my own family of origin motivated me to want to work with others to demonstrate the power of being one’s authentic self.

My approach to therapy

Have you ever wanted to talk to someone you didnt have to “explain yourself” to? I am a holistic wellness provider who utilizes a person-centered approach to empower clients to connect with their resilience, inner genius/unique abilities in order to lead rich, full, and meaningful lives. I focus on general mental health and wellness, and specialize in work with people who identify as LGBTQ+ & those with dynamic relationship styles. I am De-colonized, De-Pathologized, and De-Stigmatized.

What you can expect from me

Once we decide that we are a good fit for each other, we begin to boldly, safely, and sometimes somewhat comically explore the issues that bring you to counseling. There will always be homework (or "field practice" as I call it), which is designed to help you bring counseling out of the counseling room and into your life. Counseling with me can be short-term (five sessions at least and up to 18 months at most) or ongoing based on individualized need.
