My approach to therapy

As a counselor, I will serve as a supportive professional working with you, not on you.

I believe that you are an expert in your own life, even if you don’t always use that expertise effectively. I believe it is my job to provide you the time and space to take an honest look at your desired path, and the supports to identify the strengths you possess to set you on it.

What you can expect from me

At times, the people closest to you may be offering the most loving support that they have to give. But they are just that, too close. This professional counseling relationship will provide a space to voice feelings, thoughts, and even actions that you may not be ready to share with someone whose well-being is so closely tied to your own.
