Phyllis Taliaferro LCSW-R is a seasoned psychotherapist. She graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Social Welfare. She acquired her Master’s Degree there. She has taught at the State University of New York at Farmingdale in the Community Service Assistant Department and at Old Westbury College in the Sociology Department.
She’s had her own practice since 1984. She has treated children adults, couples and golden age. Phyllis trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for three years at Lenox Hill Hospital. She has included Cognitive Behavior Therapy in the last several years. She has treated adolescents, individuals, couples and golden age successfully over the years.
Phyllis is warm and presents the consummates professional therapist. Prior clients have indicated that Phyllis has more confidence in them then they thought was there and can bring them through the worse situations.
