Great to meet you!

I have been in a helping profession for nearly four decades, and what drives me still is watching someone begin to understand themselves in a new way.

I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck — in patterns they don't fully understand, in relationships that feel difficult, or in emotions that seem hard to move through. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, yet still find themselves repeating dynamics that feel impossible to change. That is exactly where our work begins.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from psychoanalytic thinking, trauma-informed care, and expressive therapy — an experiential approach that goes beyond talk when words alone aren't enough. I also integrate mindfulness and mind-body awareness when it fits.

You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out. Just an honest conversation is enough to begin.

When I sit with someone, I find myself wanting to know more — what they hear, what they see, what they feel as they tell me their story. I am not here to give you answers. I am here to help you find your own.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational thinking — which means we pay attention not just to what is happening now, but to the patterns and experiences that shaped you along the way.

Together we explore how past relationships, losses, and life experiences continue to influence the present — often in ways that aren't immediately obvious. As those patterns become clearer, something shifts. Communication improves. Relationships feel different. You begin relating to yourself with more compassion and less judgment.

I also draw from expressive therapy and mind-body awareness — bringing in experiential approaches when talking alone isn't quite reaching what needs to be reached.

This is collaborative work. You set the pace. I provide the space.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really a conversation — a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to get a sense of what it feels like to work with me.

I'll want to understand what brings you in, what has been weighing on you, and what you're hoping might feel different. There are no right answers and nothing you need to prepare. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

By the end of our first meeting, we'll have a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together might look like. I never want anyone to feel pressure to commit before they're ready.

My goal for that first session is simple — that you leave feeling heard.
