Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ploy, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m the founder of Heartwork Psychotherapy, where I specialize in attachment-focused therapy for first-generation, immigrant, and multicultural young adults who want to feel more secure in their relationships and in themselves.

I love love, and I also know it’s where we often feel the most anxiety, confusion, and self-doubt. My work helps you understand your attachment patterns so you can stop seeing yourself as “too much” or “not enough,” and start building relationships that feel safe, mutual, and grounded.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is culturally responsive, collaborative, structured, and deeply relational.

I specialize in attachment-focused, solution-oriented work, which means we explore the patterns shaping your relationships while also building practical tools you can use right away.

I help clients connect the dots between early experiences and current dynamics so insight turns into meaningful change. I strive to create a space that is about understanding yourself more clearly and moving toward relationships that feel secure, mutual, and emotionally safe.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, thoughtful space where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out.

We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what’s been feeling heavy or confusing, and what you hope will feel different. I’ll ask intentional questions to understand your relationship patterns and the bigger picture of your life.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying clear goals and a direction for our work together so you leave with a sense of clarity and a plan. Most clients tell me they feel relieved, understood, and hopeful after our first conversation, that’s always my goal!
