Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Pooja Parashar, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with a Master’s from USC. I’m passionate about making therapy accessible & breaking the stigma of seeking help, especially with clients of color. My approach centers on building an empathic connection & meeting you where you are. I offer virtual & in-person services for adults, couples, & teens, specializing in trauma, communication issues, & anxiety, viewing clients holistically within their broader life context.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a healing environment by tailoring therapy to your needs. I am deeply committed to offering a supportive space where you can truly feel safe & heard. Using modalities like CBT, IFS, & Narrative Therapy, I guide you in processing trauma, uncovering core beliefs, & fostering growth & well-being. I care about helping my clients help themselves by setting realistic goals that allow them to thrive. I love to plant therapeutic seeds with my clients & hope that my clients blossom.

What you can expect from me

Healing starts from within, which allows clients to build a strong foundation of self-care in their sessions. Clients often see increased self-awareness, resilience, & a deeper connection to their true potential. Clients feel empowered in becoming their best selves & learn useful coping skills as they work toward their goals. With compassion & care, I create a space where you can go from surviving to thriving!
