Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of experience working in schools, community mental health, and private practice settings. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, and families and have training in EMDR and trauma-informed care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected in the therapeutic relationship. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and draw from EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and attachment-informed interventions to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create lasting change. I strive to balance insight with practical tools, helping clients build resilience while addressing the underlying patterns that may be keeping them stuck.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope will be different in your life. I’ll also ask about your background, relationships, and strengths to better understand the full picture. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard and leave with a clearer understanding of the next steps.
